In the Cloud

So I'm really interested in trying to get working with Amazon's S3 this summer.  I'm hoping I have time to do that.  I have been worried about the additional responsibility of really opening up the floodgates for our huge user base to start uploading their own content and having to back that up or replicate it to other servers... or just store it all!

I think this is going to be our scaling answer for that.  And if it worked for SmugMug and all their terrabytes why not?

The only tempting thing is to see what Google comes up with because their competitive project should be out soon.  Hmm...
